Our programmes aim to bring together senior and aspiring leaders from across the public and not-for-profit/voluntary sectors, with the aim of developing strong networks and enabling participants to identify opportunities for collaborative working; ensuring that services delivered are done so in an effective and efficient manner and ultimately to improve the delivery of services to the public.
Within our current portfolio we have four core open development programmes available:
The Collaborative Leader is a two-day high energy and interactive programme that provides leaders who deliver public services the opportunity to explore and deepen their understanding of the challenging and multi-layered issues impacting on communities. These challenges include health inequalities, housing, poverty, crime and public safety. Whilst collaborative initiatives and partnership working has increased, this needs to accelerate as leaders are required to work across organisational boundaries to deliver better, more effective public services focused on outcomes.
The next planned dates for this programme are 3rd and 4th September 2018, hosted by the City of London Corporation and the 20th - 21st November 2018 in Basildon and Thurrock.

STRATEGIC IMPACT GROUPS We find that many of our participants get so much from interacting with peers from other sectors they wish to pursue this further. Also, some potential participants can’t attend a residential programme. The Strategic Impact Groups are for them.

LEADING WITHOUT BOUNDARIES is a programme for middle level leaders where you will work on real problems, identifying common challenges and noting differences through working with leaders from other sectors. You will together identify options and solutions you tions to often ‘wicked-problems’. The programme will cover areas such as managing stakeholders, negotiating and influencing, systems leaderships, the WHY of leadership and decision making. UGANDAN LEADERSHIP PIONEERS Working with PEPAL, the CSLE deliver The Uganda Pioneers Challenge . This is a seven-day executive training programme that provides participants with hands-on experience of working in Uganda. It partners UK public and voluntary sector professionals with leaders from the Ugandan health sector to create joint teams that work together to improve service delivery at health centres in some of the most remote and deprived regions of Western Uganda. Our latest programe was from 15th to 23rd September 2018.
